A common question I get asked from BDRs is how long they should be pursuing in-market accounts. We suggest working hot accounts for 30-45 days, but there will be times where you might not convert a hot account within that period. The reality is that sometimes people are doing research and running their own evaluation and…

When clicking into an Account’s Details Page, our goal is to understand what’s going on at the account, where that activity is coming from, and who to pursue based on that. To execute this - a great place to start is by looking at an account’s web activity. Looking at the different website URLs that an account is visiting…

Although our 2024 event has concluded, we have so many resources available for you and…

Hi everyone! Molly here on the Customer Enablement team at 6sense. I wanted to pass along a few tips & tricks on leveraging the Persona Map. The Persona Map was a feature that I utilized daily when I was a BDR to strategize my outreach, spot check engagement gaps, and uncover multithreading opportunities across my target…

You've gotten the hang of identifying hot accounts with 6sense as a seller; now it's time to implement account-level data into your outreach. To capture your prospect's attention, personalize your message. There is no better way to personalize messaging than to use 6sense keyword intent and website activity to relate to…

Long gone are the days of volume-based outbound prospecting. What worked in the early days of SaaS to build "predictable revenue" is now counter-productive internally and externally. Sales reps hate it. Prospects hate it. The advent of sales engagement platforms such as Outreach and Salesloft were the beginning of the end,…

Off the back of some great sessions at Breakthrough, I'm rolling out a new strategy for my BDR team that would better map sequences to an account's buying stage. Being an early stage startup, we have to work all of our Tier 1s - regardless of their buying stage - but that often leaves my reps spending too much time…

Hi - I've seen the 6S example of their Value Cards for your BDRs and the Value Card by persona but I'd love to see other companies' keyword framework breakdown for their BDR teams. I'm looking a matrix, BDR "cheat sheet," or really anything that is working for YOU! Thanks in advance!

Is anyone doing orchestrations with Salesloft? I want to make sure it all works properly, understand how people get added to team cadences, etc.

Hi, I'm Amy Hawthorne, a B2B Forrester Analyst working on research around the BDR/SDR role and how it works in today's revenue engine. My colleague, Seth Marrs, and I have launched a new survey for Revenue Development Representatives (RDRs/BDRs/SDRs) in an effort to learn more about the current team structures, technology…

We are so excited you're here! BDR Block is a space for BDRs to network, ask questions, access and share resources, and more. It's looking pretty quiet in here right now so help us change that! See below for some content prompts to help get the party started:
