How to you best leverage LinkedIn reporting in 6sense?

    Anyone can correct me if I'm wrong, but we report on our LinkedIn Campaigns through the Segment performance reporting dashboard. You can use the buying stage report or the engagement report to better understand how your accounts are engaging with your LinkedIn Campaigns.


    Note: You must have your segment connected to LinkedIn in order to report on it.

    @Nickhavr93 is correct! In order to leverage the LinkedIn Digital Advertising report, you must use a 6sense segment in a LinkedIn Advertising campaign.

    @Allie Gollner does the LinkedIn campaign need to be broken out by country in order for the metrics to show up in 6sense?

    Hi @mdesousa ! Yes, the 6sense segment can have multiple countries but when you set up the campaign in LinkedIn you will need to target 1 country for reporting to flow back into 6sense. This is due to LinkedIn reporting engine and API is currently restricted to single demographic factor pivots. The "Best Practices: Linkedin Campaigns" article goes over the nuances of this limitation. Also saw this post from another user that might be helpful!

    @Allie Gollner I assume this is true for LinkedIn campaigns built from within 6Sense as well?

    @Brandon McBride thats correct! I spoke to our Ads team and we are exploring potential fixes but nothing live as of right now.

    Oftentimes, when a marketing group wants to target the entire world, it's because our targeting audience is so niche that restricting to one country is prohibitive and LinkedIn will say the audience is too small. Therefore, if we target the entire globe let's say, we need to create 195 separate LinkedIn campaigns. The catch 22 is that each country will have such a small reachable audience that LinkedIn will say it cannot serve to those small audiences. The audience is only big enough when it's combined with other countries.
