What does is mean if an account has nothing populated in Intent Score?

We have a couple of accounts in hubspot that have no data populated in their Intent Score. The few I've found seem to be in the Target Buyer Stage and also Low Profile Fit and also have not had any activity with either a marketing campaign or our website etc., Is this blank simply because they have yet to engage with anything outlined by out instance?

Hi @Carly Watson We observed something similar with accounts in our Salesforce instance (and I am not familiar with how 6sense Hubspot integration works). The primary reason for intent score being empty in Salesforce were:

    • Account is in Target stage (6sense only synced intent scores for accounts that are in-market and accounts in Target stage are not considered in-market)
    • Accounts in Salesforce were not mapped to a 6sense account

    Hope this helps.

@hasingh233 I would bet that tracks for Hubspot too! Thanks so much for your response. That all makes sense.

@Carly Watson Likely accounts that are not in-market and thus not syncing over or accounts that may not have a record in SF yet. I don't know the backend inter-workings of the 6sense-HubSpot integration but it was probably set-up to minimize unnecessary data (e.g. inactive/non in-market accounts) in your MarTech environments that applicable users (sales/marketing) couldn't use to bring in new opps.

Can be annoying to not see data where you might expect it but actually a good thing. It keeps sellers and sales enablement focused on accounts actually showing sighs of life. 😊

@Taylor Matysik I totally agree! As long as I didn't go breaking anything I am very happy to minimize data we don't need. Thank you for your comment!
