Hi,

How are other people tracking new contacts created by 6Sense campaigns in Salesforce and/or HubSpot?

Currently we have a hidden field in our HubSpot forms to capture utm_source parameter, which is looking for the default "6sense" source we I understand is added to all tracking URLs.

We have been running with 6sense for about 6 months now and have not yet seen any new contacts come in with a 6sense utm source attribution. Nor has there been anything identifiable in the HubSpot contact timeline.

Just curious how others are approaching this problem or if we are missing something. Thank you!

  • Hi there -

Ash here from the 6sense Solutions Consulting team! Are you pushing contacts via orchestration into HubSpot? If so, as long as HubSpot is integrated with 6sense, you can use the Original Source fields to create a list of all contacts created by the 6sense integration. If you navigate to properties -> contact properties -> original source drill down 2, you should see 6sense as the source.

Let me know if you don't have the same set up.

    Cheers,

    Ash

    Hi Ash,

Thanks for the reply. I'm looking to find a way to attribute new contacts that are coming in from the destination URLs on our ads. If they fill out a form on a HubSpot page, how can we accurately know if that new contact came from 6sense campaign or not?

  • Hi Spencer,

Got it. For some reason I missed the campaign point when I first read the thread - apologies!

We do have a way to track influenced form fills, as outlined in this article: https://support.6sense.com/hc/en-us/articles/4402156933523-Influenced-Form-Fills-Report#report-views-0-0

Let me know if this still doesn't help and I'll see who else I can talk to internally.

    Cheers,

    Ash
