Metric Monday: The Truth About Your Website Traffic

Only 3% of web visitors fill out onsite forms, leaving a staggering 97% of your valuable web traffic anonymous. Pro tip: You paid for all of it! If you're not de-anonymizing your web traffic, you are effectively throwing away nearly all of the response to everything you do to attract and engage buyers.

This is the first half of why I dislike MQLs so greatly. There are two MAJOR chokepoints in the MQL process. The first is getting people to fill out forms. The second is horrible MQL-SQL conversion rates. Did you know that 13% is the average? After all of that work to get people to fill out forms so you can call them an MQL, 87% of them still aren't actually qualified.
I brought this up to a coworker, who said something along the lines of "13% is actually pretty good" and it got me thinking:
My coworker is right if we were grading on a curve. But if bigger picture is that the entire class is failing and perhaps we should pay more attention to that.

I love your analogy @Brandon McBride! It's so true that we should be paying more attention to the bigger picture.
