Metric Monday: Is Growth, Decline, or Stability the Trend for BDR Teams? #BDR Appreciation Week

Options

Happy Metric Monday and kickoff of BDR Appreciation Week! 🎉

We 💙 BDRs and make it a priority to survey them annually to understand how they are doing in their roles. This year, we received a lot of positive feedback - one of them being team growth!

With many discussions surrounding layoffs and budget cuts in B2B over the past couple of years, we included a question in our survey this year to understand if this is something BDRs are experiencing within their teams.

The answer is largely positive.

Teams are twice as likely to have grown over the past year than to have gotten smaller. Altogether, roughly three-quarters of teams have either grown or stayed the same size, indicating a healthy market for BDRs.🙌

Stay tuned this week to learn more about what BDRs are saying!

Sure looks like a net plus for BDRs over the past year. We're really happy to see that. And BDRs are mostly thriving, although there's a pesky question of the tools they have been provided, and more about that in the report that's just out. https://lnkd.in/gB2WNR9W

  • This is so interesting! I would have assumed it was the opposite after seeing multiple LinkedIn posts about automating BDR teams. Glad to see companies are prioritizing BDRs as a crucial part of the revenue org 👏
