Translated Keywords

Hi everyone,
I recently posted about keyword auditing as my team is in the process of cleaning some keywords up. Along with that, we are translating our keywords as well. Do any of you have experience with translating keywords and have any best practices when it comes to that AND/OR any best practices regarding how you organized them in 6Sense?

Probably a bit late to the conversation, but the two links above are great! I wanted to share some additional tips to ensure you’re capturing all the strong intent signals you need:
1. Regional Nuances
Direct translations often miss the mark. It’s worth investing time to understand how certain terms or phrases are interpreted in the region. For example:
> Local brands and competitors can vary greatly by market.
> Slang and cultural preferences may significantly impact keyword effectiveness.
2. Collaborate with Regional Teams/Experts
Involve regional teams or native speakers in the translation process. They’ll provide valuable insights into what resonates in their market. For instance - English often has many ways to express the same idea, which isn’t always the case in other languages, particularly in Europe.
3. Consult Your SEO Team
While slightly different from setting up keyword trees, your SEO team likely has great insights into what people are searching for in key regions. This can help you identify additional keywords that might have been missed in translation.
