Hi RevCity Community,

I'm having trouble with Canva when designing banner ads. They look fine in Canva, but they often become blurry after download, even at larger pixel sizes.

I'm wondering if other Canva users have found ways to prevent this blurriness. I'm also open to suggestions for alternative design tools or workflows that would allow me to create these ads myself.

If the best solution is to involve our graphic designer, I can do that. I'm just hoping to handle ABM ad creation myself if possible. 🙏 Thanks!

Creatives below so you know I am not crazy, the blur is real.

Best,
Justine

Hi, @Justine Eads!Design tools like Canva often display things at a higher resolution (or with smoothing) to make everything look crisp while you're editing. But once you export - especially for web formats or specific ad specs — the reality kicks in. Lower resolution or smaller dimensions can look blurry when viewed at full size on a computer screen, but they’re actually optimized for how they’ll appear in context (like on a phone screen or inside a browser window).

It looks like everything is right on track and within spec - no worries there! Let me know if you have any other questions!

Awesome! Good to know it is fine for how they view it, and it is just because I am viewing on a full size computer screen. I will keep using canva then. Thank you.
