Salesforce Einstein Activity Capture(EAC) Update: Email Activity Sync Now Supported in 6sense

What changed?

Previously, email activities from Einstein Activity Capture (EAC) were not syncing into 6sense, since Salesforce stored this data in a separate cloud inaccessible to third party applications like 6sense. Salesforce has now released an enhancement that makes this data available for sync through APIs.

What you need to do

  1. In Salesforce, Go to Main Settings → Einstein Activity Capture → Settings → Sync Email as Salesforce Activity
  2. Enable Sync Email as Salesforce Activity

If this option is not visible, raise a Salesforce support case and reference Case ID 471050954. Salesforce has confirmed that this case ID can be used by any mutual 6sense customer when raising this issue.

Outcome
Once enabled, email activities will automatically sync into 6sense with no further action required. Activities mapped in Data Taxonomy will be automatically applied (non-retroactively) to Reach Models and will also appear in the Sales Intelligence platform.
