Filtering out subscription / unsubscribe forms in segment or intent

Hey all!

I set up a segment for one of our strategic sales reps for their region and a particular solution we offer. We offer education solutions and many schools roll up to one large URL for district.

• My initial segment had about 19 accounts with just account owner and keyword group
• I set up email intent alerts and noticed I was getting signals in the alerts around form fills that were subscription management
• I filtered out that particular form, and unsubscribe, and it dropped my segment to 6 accounts
• I looked online and it said that filtering out one form doesn't affect the other intent and form fills, but going from 19 to 6 sees suspect.

Question:

1. What is the best way to filter out "subscription/unsubscribe" form fills while keeping the other intent in place?

What this has done is taken any account where an individual has filled out an unsubscribe form and removed it. It sounds like you're already aware of that.

If I understand correctly, the problem you're experiencing is that you're being notified of individuals visiting the unsubscribe page in their alerts.

If that's the case, you can exclude those URLs here in the alert setup:

On a related note, the company I work for also targets accounts where many different entities role up into the same domain. If your education accounts are using subdomains, you can send a list to 6sense via the Support link here on RevCity. Subdomain normalization is on by default, but government entities (our target market) often use subdomains to host their websites.

Thanks, Brandon! I totally overlooked the URL part in alerts, I was thinking there was a way to do that there.

Good to know on the subdomain piece, I'll ask people that know more about that than me to see if we've been down that path already.
