Hi all — anyone willing to share insights related to organic traffic? We're seeing SGE starting to eat into organic traffic, while impressions and viewability are up, suggesting that Google SGEs are showing generative snippets of our content more, but at the cost of individuals clicking links and coming to our site.

Anyone seeing similar trends in organic traffic?

    Absolutely, and it will only become more pronounced in 2025. I've been researching some resources to help optimize for SGE to ensure your site is answering the questions people are asking and being presented in SGE results.

    Here's a resource I found helpful, along with reference materials at the end for a deeper dive.

    Net net is, focus on intent phrases vs keywords. Conversational language will get picked up more as it will map directly to people's questions. The article describes the "how" behind that in greater detail.

    1. I'm excited to see something not directly related to 6sense here. I don't know what vision 6sense has for RevCity, but given that the buyer experience involves a lot of non-vendor research, I like the idea of seeing topics related the broader buying process and how they manifest and affect us.
    2. At CivicPlus, we have this reward system involving Taco emojis and I really wish I could share some with @jfewlessInverta right now for these awesome resources.

    I remember when voice search was predicted to disrupt organic search, but my Google Home and Alexa devices have only gotten worse as time has gone on.

    This is going to be different.
