Wanted to share a campaign that we’ve seen a lot of success with internally leveraging Linkedin Conversation Ads to put the AE in front of the buyer on a different channel. For this campaign we targeted ABM Managers, ABM Directors, Demand Gen Managers, Marketing Managers, Marketing VPs, Sales Managers, Sales Directors, and Sales VPs.

Our goals were to:

  • Multi thread into accounts by reaching key marketing and sales personas
  • Target an AE’s territory with the goal of opening or accelerating opportunities
  • Offer value to prospects via high value assets and offering time to connect 1x1

We plan to test a V2 of this campaign within the quarter targeting accounts in decision in purchase across the same personas.

@Alexa Grossman, I'm back in the office post-holiday and came up with some questions while I was out. First - are you doing this dynamically? If so, is it a segment containing open ops sent over to LinkedIn? Or are you using a contact list downloaded from Salesforce and uploaded into LinkedIn?

Deal acceleration is the one thing left on my Q2 goals that I haven't started yet, so this suggestion couldn't have come at a better time for us.

  • @Brandon McBride we used a contact list from SFDC, pushed that into a segment in 6sense, and then linked the 6sense campaign to Linkedin! I think this campaign is great for deal acceleration so perfect timing!

@Alexa Grossman Thank you! One last question: Did you have to set up one segment per AE? We have a limited number and most, if not all, are currently being used.

  • thats a really great question-- we have set it up both ways where we set up one segment per AE and have a few segments/campaigns running at once AND have also set it up where we create one segment and have all responses route to a subject matter expert or someone who can take the initial call and then loop in the AE if relevant for next steps!

I think due to minimum audience sizes we'll have to take that last route.
