This post is an amazing resource for Segments @Lauren Triance-Haldane! One additional Segment I feel may be helpful for customers to learn more about are Component Segments for Suppression, such as creating a Segment of Customers + Partners for exclusion using the "Accounts in Segment" filter option.
Sometimes using global exclusion rules may be too restrictive, and a great alternative to that is using a Suppression Segment! Maybe an idea for a 6sense Segments 201 discussion? 😊

Thanks Craig, I love this idea! As I gather resources for the Segments 201 post, I'll reach out to pick your brain more about Segments for suppression. Thanks for chiming in here 😀

@Craig Reynolds Adding to that - we also have a segment for open opportunities that we sometimes use for suppression as well.

@Brandon McBride Love that! 💡 Will certainly include this hot tip in the next one, thank you.

@Brandon McBride that is great to hear you're doing that for open opportunities! In 6sense parlance, we call these Component Segments, as they represent a common facet of the business. Using Component Segments (as an exclusion) in conjunction with Segments that are centered around a particular GTM Sales team, along with company profiles & intent, helps yield a perfect audience for running something like a BOFU 'Act Now' play.

Hi team — do we have the ability export the segments with more fields than the default ones in the export?
Thanks in advance,
Jeremy

Hey Saima, great thank you for the confirmation! Good to know that we are limited to the default ones.
