Is there a way to update the account list of a segment created by file upload without having to create a new campaign?

Not right now. If you're downloading a file from your MAP or CRM I'd just sync it directly. If those options aren't available, you're out of luck for the moment.

I do think some sort of Google Sheets integration would be interesting for scenarios where list upload is required.

  • @Andrew Mera you can also submit a feature request through RevCity! This is a good one :)

Hi @Rachel Zerilla - checking in here as I'm also looking to segment by tech used for a list upload. Is this now a feature in 6sense?

@Madi Gerchow Is the tech already in 6sense's Technographics? If so, you can use that filter in creating a dynamic segment instead of uploading a list.

  • @Madi Gerchow Yep, as @Brandon McBride stated, you should be able to create a segment with a technographic filter. If you don't see tech you're looking for, your CSM can make a technographic request to have it added.

@Rachel Zerilla That was going to be my next suggestion. I may have submitted a couple of those today myself…

@Brandon McBride My thought was that instead of using the account upload do a report from SFDC and then layer in filters. We can do that, right? It's been a minute since i used any of those capabilities.

Oh I have a way I do that!

    1. I upload the list that I need - let's say "Closed Lost Opps Aug 2024"
    2. I create a "master" segment. "Closed Lost Opps - Master" for example
    3. I update that master segment to: contains segment > "Closed Lost Opps Aug 2024"
    4. Create the campaign to include "Closed Lost Opps - Master"
    5. Then, when I need to update that list, I upload the new list (Closed Lost Sep 24) , then go into the Master segment and remove the Aug segment, and add the Sep. segment.
