Facebook Advertising Success

Options

Hi everyone,

I have a question about your success using 6Sense for Facebook. I know LinkedIn is much more powerful when it comes to their b2b targeting capabilities but curious if anyone has found success using Facebook. Looks like 6Sense is using People Data Labs as their contact data enrichment but I'm not familiar with them. Few questions below to get the discussion going:

  1. What does your match rate look like for your target audience on Facebook?
  2. Any campaign orchestration/targeting you recommend using?
  3. Minimum account size we should have?

I'm open to any help/suggestions/feedback

Thanks! 🙂

  • Hi @Daniel Nguyen. We have run a few tests on Facebook and had success. We focus mostly on top of funnel campaigns to drive awareness as well as a few RT campaigns for high value pages.

What I would suggest is starting with a large segment, at least 10k accounts or more. We use a slightly filtered down ICP segment with around 35k accounts. Then you can layer in interests and demographics to further refine your audience.

What we have found with FB and Instagram is that the creative needs to be developed for those platforms. It needs to standout more and generally be more engaging. For us, some of our more quirky ads have performed the best.

    Hope this helps,

    Kyle

We also have seen success using 6sense intelligence in FB campaigns. Better CTR, lower CPM/CPC etc. I don't have the details as it sat with a colleague who was no longer with our firm, but we were happy to see the result when we did this earlier this year.
