Partial Disruption Impacting Company Identification API Call Logs
This message is to inform you that 6sense recently discovered that some call logs for the Company Identification (formerly known as Company Details) API are partially incomplete for the period from June 12, 2023, through June 28, 2023. These logs are used by 6sense to report the number of matched API calls consumed by a customer. This occurred because 6sense exceeded short-term storage limits on a few servers used for logging API call records, which impacted some log data from being retrieved and stored.
Importantly: API call matching was operational and returning responses during this period. However, you may see under-reporting of your actual utilization. Any under-reported API calls will not be applied to your contractual allowances.
Current Status: The issue is resolved, and new capacity and tracking measures are in place.
To help prevent a similar issue from occurring in the future, 6sense has also: (1) increased storage capacity on the impacted servers, and (2) adjusted alert settings to expedite capacity alerts.
