6Sense Segments - "Technology Used" filter

Does anyone know how 6Sense gets the list of "Technology Used" keywords when creating segments based on certain technologies?

How can I search for a Technology usage that is not a recognized 6Sense keyword... to be specific ... I'm creating a segment to look at companies searching for a certain technology when I try to set my filter based on "Technology Used", 6Sense does not auto-complete the technology name I'm using.

I should say that I'm trying to use the short name of the technology which I think most people use when searching .. 6Sense recognizes the fully spelled out name ...

Does anyone know if it matters or whether we can add more keywords?

Thanks for reaching out !

Generally speaking, 6sense holds number of technologies which can be used in the Technology filter and this list keeps on increasing as we speak but there will be times when a certain technology is not available as in when you type the name, system will not return matching keyword. So, in those cases we recommend our customer to create a Support ticket or reach out to your Account CSM to include the missing technology in question. You can always try searching for all possible combinations of Technologies, this will help you in selecting the appropriate option for your business requirements.

@AJ Thanks for your response here! Apologies if this isn't the right place to ask - but where can we configure which Relevant Technologies we want to show up in our Sales Intelligence views?

and also in other considerations tracking 6S technology, is there a full comprehensive list of the specific tech? The last URL shared is outdated and I can't find it here either https://6sense.com/tech

@Lillian Huang You can configure your "relevant technologies" by navigating to Settings > Sales Intelligence > Relevant Technologies. Search for technologies you want to add, click to add, then organize them in the order you'd like them to display (if an account is in fact using the tech).

Another helpful tip – if you're not seeing a tech you want to track, submit a support ticket in RevCity via their support page and link to the tech you want to track (if applicable). We've been pleasantly surprised to see 6sense's engineering/tech team add all of the tech we wanted to track that was not in their system. It usually takes them a few weeks to do so and they don't typically reach out to let you know it has been added but the support ticket will be updated to let you know it is in the engineering team's queue to review and add (if possible) which can give you a good indication of when it will be available in the future. I usually just add a calendar reminder for myself to check 2-3 weeks out.

@Lillian Huang My CSM has been incredibly helpful at helping us get many of our competitors in the system. You can go through your CSM or, as @AJ mentioned, directly to support via email or here in RevCity.
