Contact Mapping profile field Override options

Within the field mapping page for CRM Contact there is a dropdown for each field labelled “Override”. Under the email field mapping there are 4 options when looking at some fields like work email. Those 4 options are:

• Override
• Fill if blank
• A and A+ Email Confidence
• A+ Email Confidence

The definitions for them and what the selection will do is:

• Fill If Blank: override the mapped field only if the existing value is empty.
• Override: always override the mapped field
  • OR populate data if field is empty/null
• A+ Email Confidence: override work email if confidence grade is A+
  • override based on the condition that the email record(s) are A+ Email Confidence
  • OR populate data if the field is empty/null
• A and A+ Email Confidence: override work email if confidence grade is A or A+
  • override based on the condition that the email record(s) are A+ Email Confidence
  • OR populate data if the field is empty/null
