[API Security Migration] Process to be deprecated on 28th March, 2024
On March 28, 6sense will be migrating all partners and customers using server-side Company Identification API and/or Segments API (partner only) from an API token allowlist to an IP allowlist solution. This straightforward change will further strengthen overall security and scalability and make it easy for partners (and 6sense) to manage mutual customers by removing the need to allowlist individual API tokens.
To avoid any downtime and a smooth transition, we are requesting all partners and customers to send us their server IP addresses (production and stage/dev) from where API connections will be initiated, and a list of APIs in use by March 22. Your Integration may break on March 28 if you fail to do so.
Once we receive the IPs and list of APIs, please watch for an email confirmation of your organization's successful transition/switch to the IP allowlist-based integration. As an additional reminder, all partners calling the APIs must send the custom header for all the APIs as outlined in our API docs. The deadline for this change is March 28.
