Sales Intelligence People Engagement Trend Question

Hi all —

Some of my sellers are seeing anomalies in the engagement trend metrics in the People tab of Sales Intelligence. It seems to be a pattern of contacts scoring an engagement trend up of +69 (no jokes!) but yet, when the seller looks at the reach and engagement activity that drove this sharp increase in engagement, the only things that are found are Campaign and Email Open activities, both of which are not influencing our model. Adding a contact to a campaign email send should not spike their engagement, especially if they did not engage with that campaign.

Here are some examples:

This individual is spiking +69, but when you click into their activity for the last 90 days:

There are only 3 entries, all of which are either add to campaign or an open: both of which do not influence our model. So how can this individual spike so greatly with only 3 activity entries, all of which do not influence predictive scores?

Hey, did you double check that the status of submitting a person to the campaign is indeed not impacting the model? That would be my best guess as we had a similar case where adding a person to a campaign in SF was treated as a form fill.

@Jarrod Cohen If you're seeing consistent cases where engagement scores/buyer stage/profile fit look off I would have your 6sense CSM get you in touch with someone on their technical team, it may indicate you need to make some changes/updates to your data taxonomy model. This is likely occurring because something in your model is telling the system that a member being added to a campaign should be associated with an increase in intent.
