CE Knowledge Base - how to organize

Hi all, I would like to exchange on how to best organize the knowledge base considering that you have more than one product and multiple persona groups. How to manage 3rd party content or if new content is released you would like the AI writer to include that. Is this content you add to the knowledge base of is this information you add to the prompts? Would love to learn how everyone else is managing this area in order to get the best results from the AI.

  • Hi Carina! Great question. First, I would recommend coming up with a solid naming convention to identify each piece by product or persona. Currently we cannot upload URL 3rd party content but you could always paste a URLs content into a Word Document or, go to "Print" the document and save it as a PDF instead (this trick varies depending on the site).

    Any new content that you want your AI to write about should be uploaded into your Knowledge Base however, you should also think about the priority of what to upload depending on the use cases you've launched. If you're just doing more of a BDR Conversation Screen, some basic Product/Company info would probably work great. If it's something more in depth about a specific product with value props from a specific document, then definitely get that uploaded if you want to leverage it in the cadences! Think "What would my AI BDR need to know in order to pitch this?"

    The AI Writer does not have the ability to browse the web in real-time now (feature request!) is GPT-4 is trained on most of the internet up until September 2021 so we would advise against using that in the prompt relying on facts and figures from the Knowledge Base.
