Sales Intelligence Discovery vs Dashbaord

Hi everyone – I’m trying to understand the difference between the Dashboard function and the Discovery function in Sales Intelligence. From what I can see, Discovery seems to offer more functionality (for example, I can view NAICS codes and website URL visits there). Can anyone share insight on how and when to use Discovery versus Dashboard?

  • Thank you for reaching out. Here’s a quick overview of the difference between Discovery and Dashboards in Sales Intelligence:

Discovery in Sales Intelligence is designed to help you quickly identify new prospects and companies using over 50 filters, such as people, company, location, and technology. It is ideal for finding and qualifying leads based on your Ideal Customer Profile (ICP).

Dashboards provide a comprehensive view of sales data, focusing on accounts, people, recent activities, and recommended actions. They are customizable and require CRM integration for use.

In short: use Discovery when prospecting and filtering for new leads, and use Dashboards to track and act on accounts and people you’re already engaging with.
