6sense - Company Identification API

Hi!

We are trying to use 6sense company Identification API for Adobe analytics. With either and Extension (6sense for analytics and target extension) or code solution (asking developers to call this Api), we notice that 6sense API key is being exposed in client side, which is security issue.

does 6Sense have any kind of whitelisting or security on that token? Or what type of security around it or does it have to be managed by us.

Any suggestion and recommendation on how to do this on client side?
