Confirmation Bias The Silent and Most Persuasive Competitor in Every Sales Cycle
Hi all! I have a new article to share today — by yours truly!
I doubt anyone reading this is unaware of confirmation bias, but I do think it has more of a role in the buyer evaluation and purchase process than we've given it credit for. There's often a perception that buying is an objective, fact-driven process, but the buying group is human after all. And with that comes biases, preferences, prior experiences, and beliefs.
Much of the data we've collected from surveying 10,000 (and counting) B2B buyers points to those factors playing a meaningful role in decision making.
This article takes a closer look at confirmation bias in buying and what marketers and sellers can do to better understand it and make it work in their favor.
Read it here and pass it along 😉
